This Grüner Veltiner is a single vineyard wine from the Kennedy Road Vineyard in the Hawkesbury Valley. The growing season furbished us early with sunny ripening conditions. This combined with the well drained, stony clay soils and crop thinning provided beautifully exposed fruit. This has given us an elegant floral citrus based dry Grüner Veltliner. The nose is aromatic, full of floral and citrus notes. On the palate the wine shows jasmine and honesuckle alongside mandarin lemon citrus. The Huia Grüner Veltliner shows good length and fresh and lively finish. This wine is Vegan and Vegetarian friendly. Huia Grüner Veltliner is delicious with: scallops, sushi, whitebait fritters and firm fruity cheeses.
